Team is a structure that Fyno built for you to work and collaborate seamlessly with your colleagues.

But in order to understand how the Team function works, we will first need to understand what a Workspace is and how that functions. Read more here.

The structuring and functioning of a Team much like any other team, works based on roles and access assigned to each individual.

On signing up and creating a new account with Fyno your Default Workspace is created and the registered email ID will be the Organisation Owner!

The Need for Teams

Teams allows you to:

  1. Provide restricted access to individual employees as per their role requirements.
  2. Have a centralized view of the team members along with their access levels and other details
  3. Collaborate easily with colleagues on projects and tasks within the Fyno Application.

Roles

The below roles with unique levels of access have been created so that you can assign relevant roles to each person, based on what they need to access.

"Owner" and "Workspace Admin"can see all!

An "Owner" and a "Workspace Admin" has the capacity to unmask and view details within User Profiles.

All you'll need to do is, navigate to the profile (after logging in as owner) and click on the profile. Once one, find the 👁️ (eye) icon and click on it to unmask the details.

Creating and Viewing Team members

To create a new team member, follow the below steps:

  1. From your Fyno account, click on the profile icon on the top right corner of the page. From the drop-down menu, select Workspace Settings
  2. On the page that opens, under the Team section, click on the Invite User button, fill in the email ID and click on submit.
  3. The newly invited colleague will receive an email with details to sign up on the Fyno App.
  4. Owner can invite a user and give them either Workspace Admin or Developer or Support role.
  5. A Workspace Admin can invite a user and give them either Developer or Support role.

Deleting a Team Member

To delete a team member from your workspace, follow the below steps:

  1. From your Fyno account, click on the profile icon on the top right corner of the page. From the drop-down menu, select Workspace Settings
  2. On the page that opens, under the Team section, click on the "more" menu of the name that you would like to remove from the workspace and select Delete. You will be prompted to Confirm your action and that's it!

Every Workspace can have only one Owner.
